Method 1: Tweak Wireless Network Adapter Drivers

Method 2: Power Cycle Your Router or Modem

Another method by which you can fix this issue is by switching off and switching on your router for sometime. Follow the steps given below and try to connect again:

Step 1:  Turn off your router by pressing the power button of the router and wait for about 20 minutes.

Step 2: Turn on the router.

Step 3: Search for your network in the Wi-Fi connection search list.

Step 4: Once you find your network, try connecting to it again. This willestablish a new connection to your ISP.

Method 3: Run The Windows Troubleshooter

In this method you can use network troubleshooter option as follows:

Step 1: Type “Network Troubleshooter” in the search bar present at the left bottom corner of your PC and press enter.

Step 2: Now select “Troubleshooting” option from the list that appears on screen and then click on Hardware and sound option.

Step 3: After that click on Hardware and devices. Click on “Configure a device” to check whether you have Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Step 4: If not, then from the manufacturer’s site you have to download the network drivers. Save it on desktop. Open the RUN dialog from the search bar present at vthe left bottom corner of your desktop.

Step 5: Type “devmgmt.msc” in the RUN dialog. Under the Network Adapters section, find your network adapter and right click on it.

Step 6: Then select Properties and move to the driver tab.

Step 7: Click “Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation”. Go to the driver downloaded by you → Select it → Move to the Compatibility.

Step 8: Select “Windows 7” under the checkbox “Run this program in compatibility mode for”

Step 9: Right click on downloaded driver file and select “Run as administrator”. Click “OK” when prompted. Finally, restart after installation.

Method 4: Change Network Key (Security/Encryption) From WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK to WPA2-PSK With TKIP/AES 

One of the reasons for your network connection issue may be that your network connection is using WPA-PSK (or WEP). Follow the steps to confirm this issue:

Step 1: Firstly, open the action center by pressing the Windows + A key.

Step 2: Open Settings and click on Network and Internet option.

Step 3:  Then click on advancedoption.

Step 4: Click on Properties. You will be able to see what your network is using against Security type.

Step 5:  If your network is using WEP then you can tell your network provider to change it from WEP to WPA-personal and use TKIP algorithm for encryption purpose so that you will be able to connect to the network.

Method 5: Forgetting Network
