But there are some ways you can work around and have access to these websites by undermining checks for the SSL.

Method 1: Change Google Chrome Flags

You can configure your browser to forget the warnings for any old version of SSL and TSL versions, by following the steps below. Though keep in mind that this only works on the old Google Chrome version as the flags that we require are not available anymore in the latest Google Chrome version.

Step 1. Got to “Google Chrome”.

Step 2. In the address bar type “chrome://flags/” and press “Enter”.

Step 3. Find the “Minimum SSL/TSL version supported” option from the drop-down menu.

Step 4. In the “Minimum SSL/ TSL version supported” in the drop-down menu choose “SSLV3”

Step 5. Select the “Relaunch” button at the bottom.

Method 2: Turn Off SSL Scan

It may be that you have an anti-virus program or another type of security program installed on your computer that created a problem with the SSL scan.This antivirus software program in your device may perform an SSL Scan and it can be turned off in the settings, and by doing so it can help you to get rid of the Error.

Though the steps may vary from software to software of antivirus programs but there is always an option to disable it.

Step 1. Go to your anti-virus program by double click on its icon, which is on the bottom right of the screen.

Step 2. Go to “Modules”

Step 3. Choose “Web Protection”

Step 4. Untick the “Scan SSL” option

Method 3: Try Older Versions

Your browser might be showing this Error message displayed because your browser is up to date with the latest standards, and designed to reject outdated protocols and certificates. You might be able to resolve the issue by using an older version of the browser.

You can search for an old version of Google Chrome or any other internet service provider according to your choice. Download the browser and install it, and keep in mind that you won’t be able to run two versions of Google Chrome at once, so either uninstall the newer version and install the older version or you would have to download a sandboxing software to run both the version at the same time.
