Since his unexpected win at the Colombia Championship on the web.com Tour (formerly Korn Ferry Tour), the Bogotá native has risen to the ranks of one of the world’s top 100 golfers.

The Bogota native used Colombia’s Independence Day to display the luggage he will be carrying to Tokyo and to deliver a message: “I feel very pleased to be able to represent my nation in Tokyo. He wished us a “Happy 20th of July!”

However, the Rivalry is Fierce;
The locals bet heavily on Hideki Matsuyama to become the first Japanese player to win the Augusta Masters. American Collin Morikawa, fresh off his victory at the British Open, is also competing.
However, world number one and US Open champion, Spaniard Jon Rahm, and last year’s tournament winner and world number six, American Bryson DeChambeau, both had to withdraw from the competition due to covid-19.
